On September 21, 2025, the Food Court 5000 mall walkers turned Portland’s Lloyd Center into the city’s quirkiest Sunday stage. A reporter (Bonnie Silkman) and videographer (Mike, also known as Rico) from KPTV Good Day Oregon joined us to capture the spectacle, and our Mall Rats made sure to deliver.

From head-to-toe costumes to an impromptu Depeche Mode singalong and dance party, the energy was off the charts. Even Pumpkin, the 5-year-old tortoise from Secondhand Pet Supply, tried to join our strut and was completely unfazed by dozens of Mall Rats chanting her name.
